Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, and captivated by the profound Catholic faith expressed in the city’s magnificent 17th-century Baroque churches and Cathedral, I knew from an early age that I wanted to become an artist. The ornate architecture, emotionally charged chapels, realistic statues of the suffering Christ, and devotional paintings, I was drawn to religious Catholic art.
Early in my career, I explored a range of painting styles, from the classical realism of French academic master William-Adolphe Bouguereau to the surrealism of Salvador Dalí. I worked primarily in oils and acrylics and watercolors before transitioning into digital media.
Today, my work seeks the transcendentals of beauty, goodness, and truth. Whether creating illustrations, multimedia content, or fine art paintings, my aim is to draw the viewer toward the divine—beauty that elevates the soul, goodness that reflects Christ’s charity, and truth that proclaims the Gospel with clarity and conviction.
Deeply committed to the Second Vatican Council’s decree Inter Mirifica, I view communications media as a powerful instrument for evangelization. I bring professional expertise, creative vision, catechetical experience, and a fervent commitment to the Catholic faith into every endeavor, bearing witness to Jesus Christ through technical skill, cultural awareness, and artistic talent.
